NCRS Dutch Chapter News
Last Saturday the 13th of September it was the day of Flight 2008. Last year we had only one car to judge but this year two of our member provided a car.
Stef Sindorf, one of our local members, provided his original 1978 Pace Car. The car has only 2600 miles on the odometer and looked stunning. Stef bought the car last year in Holland, a unique find. Next to that our European Member Oliver Brandenburg from Germany provided his Corvette Orange 1977 car. Oliver is the 2nd owner and bought the car 16 years ago in the States. Bot cars came with a complete set of documentation!
In total the event was visited by 21 people but only 8 were actually judging. This meant that 4 teams had 6 hours to judge 2 cars and do a PV. A heavy job! Around 4 PM the judging of the technical side, chassis, interior and exterior was finished. Then we immediately continued with the nerve wrecking PV. Both cars failled during the check of the alarm systems.
Under a close eye of our Judging Chairman Andre Boer the scores were calculated. The results were good, Stef achieved a Top Flight with his 78 Pace Car and Oliver a 2nd Flight!
All in all a good day!
